A legacy and future
We celebrate our rich legacy by continuing to serve the Kenwood community. But the realities of food insecurity, healthcare inequity, and racial injustice demand more than just worship. We are a faith community committed to the work of Christ, tackling these challenges head-on.
With a unique story Kenwood is also a historic landmark. In 1991 the church was added to the National Register of Historic Places and designated a Chicago city landmark in 2011.
Today, our congregation continues to meet the needs of our community through collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to the future.
