We build community by worshiping Sundays at 11:00 a.m., meeting for prayer online Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m., holding Bible study Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m., and hosting a monthly Fire Hour for young adults. We also connect through events, partnerships, and sharing resources.

Rooted in Matthew 25:14–30 and Ubuntu—“I am because we are”—we form leaders who are accountable, connected, and purposeful. Building on Kenwood’s tradition of care, we equip a new generation to serve with integrity, lead with humility, and use their gifts for the common good.

Rev. Jamar A. Boyd II is Kenwood United Church of Christ’s 17th senior pastor, guiding us as we follow Christ, connect with one another, and grow as a community.
